What's in my holiday makeup bag?

Considering I recently said you should limit how much makeup you pack in my 10 tips to help you pack less post I may have gone a bit overboard myself. I have definitely taken less makeup items than last year - but still way too many if I am honest.

I brought along my Piz Buin Ultra Light Dry Touch Face Fluid as my chosen SPF base. It matches the sun protection I use on my body, smells amazing and creates a smooth base, I don't think I could ask for more. I have also brought along a mini Benefit The Porefessional Primer as a primer just in case I need one.

I have also brought along my favourite base of the moment, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue - an amazing lightweight Summer base that also contains SPF. As I am paranoid about this one running out I decided to pop my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in as well, my second favourite foundation.

For the eyebrows I took my Collection Eye Definer and Essence Brow Gel. I also popped in a couple of eyeshadows in case I want to dress up my makeup in the evening. I went for my Clinique Pink Chocolate Eyeshadow Quad and a single shade from Urban Decay (Sin). For the lashes I went for two from L'Oreal, the waterproof False Lash Architect and also the False Lash Flutters mascara.

To keep any shine at bay I brought along the MUA pro-base prime and conceal powder and a mini Benefit Licence to Blot. 

As much as I am unlikely to be wearing much on my cheeks I couldn't resist bringing along my favourite cheek products of all time, you know, just in case. This meant the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, the Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick and Nars Highlighting Powder came along. 

Lastly I couldn't resist leaving all my lipsticks at home so brought along three, a neutral, pink, and a red shade. L'Oreal Eva's Nude Lipstick, The Body Shops Colour Shine Lipstick (shade 17) and the Clinique Pop lip colour and primer in Cherry Pop came along.
