The Body Shop has always been one of my favourite brands, but somehow I seemed to completely miss the recent launch of their Face Contouring Palette. That being said, as soon as I spotted it on their Instagram, I went straight to the shop to pick myself one up, so today I thought I would share with you my first thoughts.
The palette is designed to be your 'full-face contouring kit,' an 'expert dimension creator to shape, define, and highlight.'
The palette has four shades, with the top left shade being the contouring shade. The contour shade is a lovely grey toned brown, which is great for pale toned girls like myself. It allows me to add definition with ease, and without worrying that I am turning myself orange.
The shade next to this, the top right shade, is your bronzing shade. When I first saw the colour I was a little bit scared as it looks a little orange in the pan, however this doesn't translate onto the skin, and instead warms up your face.
The bottom left shade is the highlighting shade, a gorgeous slightly pink toned highlighter - it kind of reminds me of the original MUA Undress Your Skin highlighter. It adds a nice glow with a slight shimmer.
The final shade in the bottom right hand corner is the blusher, a beautiful coral toned pink blusher. I find this adds a nice flush of pink to my skin.
I have used only this product a couple of times since purchasing, but I am really enjoying it. I really like the fact that the contouring and bronzing shade are both matte and I am in love with the blusher.
There is also a darker shade contour palette available, and these are priced at £15, but if you use the voucher code 14664 you can currently get 40% discount.
What's your favourite product from The Body Shop? Have you tried their new face contouring palettes?
