Beauty products are something I absolutely adore and love playing around with if you haven't guessed, but I didn't always have as big a collection as I do now, and there are some products that I've actually loved for a while. With that in mind, I thought I would share my long-standing beauty favourites with you today. Oh, and this post is totally inspired by The Anna Edit.
Urban Decay Naked palette
Since receiving the original Urban Decay Naked palette back in 2013 it has been a full on love-affair. I don't use it nearly enough lately but it is the palette which made me fall in love with Urban Decay and is also the first ever high-end palette I owned. The formula is incredible, super pigmented and smooth, and there are so many gorgeous shades. I think this palette will forever have a place in my heart.
L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic mascara
I'm not actually sure when I first started using this, but I do know that I picked it up when it was first released which I think was around 2012. This is still a firm favourite of mine as I just love the false lash effect this mascara creates. It leaves my lashes defined and volumised which is exactly what I look for in a mascara. I love the super fine brush too as it combs through my lashes so easily too.
Benefit Brow Zings
A product you've heard me talk about numerous times, but this is another product that has been a bit of a love-affair since first picking it up in around 2012. Benefit Brow Zings is an incredible product, I love the formula of the powder and how easy it is to work with. I barely need to pick up any product to fill in and shape my entire eyebrows and it always lasts all day too. I do try other brow products but this is the product I always go back too.
Urban Decay All Nighter foundation
I first picked up this foundation last year so it's a little bit newer than the rest of the products I've featured in this post, but it is most certainly worth a mention. Since purchasing this it is the only foundation I reach for when I want my makeup to look flawless as it really does make my skin look flawless. It's a full coverage foundation that lasts all day too, or all night, and is definitely one to try if you haven't already.
MUA blusher in Cupcake
I think it was in 2014 when I first picked up this blusher, and I'm now on my second one which I can't get over as I rarely use up an entire blusher. This blusher only costs a £1 and is super impressive for the price. It's a smooth formula that picks up well onto a brush, and it even lasts about 5 hours too. Cupcake is a gorgeous neutral shade with a slight pink hint to it.
The Body Shop lipsticks
After university I worked at The Body Shop, which is not only when I first tried their lipsticks, but also the start of my obsession with beauty. This was in 2013 and I can firmly say their lipsticks are still one of my absolute favourites. The packaging changed when I worked there and far more lipsticks became available, but I could never have enough. I love all the formulas, but the original Colour Crush lipsticks have to be my favourite. They are super hydrating, pigmented and look lovely on the lips without being too shiny. I can see The Body Shop lipsticks being a long-standing beauty favourite of mine forever.
